Custom Char Program And New Plugin {Custom Char Previewer}

Well not really a plugin. It's a simple program written in VB to create custom chars for LCD Smartie. The program generates the code for you to put in LCD Smartie.

Yes, i use this program.
It is a very nice and usefull program.

And.....I have a little idea for you.

1. Input-field for the Display-Type
2. Then the program show the Character-fields like this

H H H H
H H H H

for example 2*20 Display

That will be very usefull fo bigger graphics. Because you can see
the whole graphic.

I have also used you program and it was very helpfull. I?m from Denmark and here we have letters like ? ? ?. I have made them ind the program and also displayed them on my 40x4 display. But how can I use my custom charactor in a title? Fx. Song - R?dgr?d Med Fl?de P?.

Is it posible with LCD Smartie?

I know when using Hd44780 displays for 8051 microcontroller units it?s posible!

Yes it is possible, however you can only have 8 custom chars. Also you will need a plugin to replace custom char in a title to display it on ur LCD. If you keep bugging Limbo he might make a plugin for you.

nothing really important but i fixed few bugs that i was too lazy to fix in the first version . Oh and I added the call character function so you dont have to add $chr(1xx) to display on LCD.
