Thermaltake A2331 extending the wiring

I need some help in extending the wiring on the A2331 the first cable is the one that comes from the pwr botton on the front of the case. second one is the wire that comes from the pwr button connection on the motherboard to the back of the vfd. and third the power source from the power pack three wires.

i have been told to use some cable from a 3 core extension lead for the power source.

just aint too sure on the other 2.

Please help i am desperate to get this finished.
the extension of all cables is about 3 metres.
